Fractal forms require no deep reading to immediately captivate and mystify. But because their form is by definition self-similar, they bear built-in references to reproduction and the necessary figurative remakings of self experienced throughout life. I think fractals have a lot of potential for tasteful and meaningful ornamentation that is underutilized.
